Arrive to cars that are ready.

You land for the season and every car needs something: chips, a scuff from the car condo, a panel to sort before the show field. One shop that knows the collection, classics and exotics alike.

Plan your seasonby message

Sound familiar?

Owning a collection in Naples.

If you’re reading this page, one of these is probably on your mind.

“Every November I manage five vendors.”

Detailer, painter, restorer, someone for the exotic. Nobody knows the whole collection.

“Show season sneaks up on me.”

The chip you meant to fix in April is still there in February.

“I worry about the cars in someone else’s care.”

You want to know who is touching them, and see it.

“My shop is up north.”

The cars are here half the year. The people who know them are not.

Diego always does an awesome job. He completes the work on time at a reasonable price

I reached out to Diego's Auto Body for a mildly random request- to go to a dealership and drive/inspect a car for me that I am purchasing out of state and won't be able to see in person. Diego did not hesitate in accepting the random job, gave me an incredibly reasonable price, and he went over and did it himself on the same day! He called me after and we talked about the vehicle and he was just such a lovely, helpful person overall. I would highly recommend this shop for their fairness, responsiveness, and overall kindness. Thank you, Diego!

Diego does a great job. He and his team worked a miracle on the front right fender of my Mazda CX-5 and fixed the bumper as well.

Quick answer

Collector car care in Naples works best planned around the season: a walkaround when you arrive in the fall, chip and panel work before the winter shows, and bigger projects planned before you leave for the summer. Diego’s Auto Body is one owner-run shop for classics and exotics. Ask for a written estimate for each car.

Planning guide

Planning a collection’s year in Naples

Arrival: a walkaround of every car

Cars that sit through a Florida summer come back with surprises: chips from the last drive, a scuff from a tight car-condo bay, sun on a cover that was not quite right. The best time to find them is the week you arrive. Walk each car, photograph anything you see, and get it on a list with a written estimate for each item.

Before the shows

Winter brings the car shows and the club drives. Paint correction, chip repair and panel work all take longer than anyone expects, so the list you made on arrival is the list to start on early. Agree which car comes in first and what has to be done before it goes on the show field.

While you are away

The quiet months are when bigger work fits: a respray, bodywork on a classic, a restoration phase. If you are away, decide in advance how you want updates, who approves extra work and how you will see the car. Ask for photos by text at each stage, and ask Diego what summer work the shop can take on.

Why one shop for everything

A shop that knows the whole collection remembers which car has the touchy paint, which panel was repaired before, and what you care about on each one. It also means one written estimate trail across the collection, which helps when you insure, sell or show a car.
