The shop
One owner, one booth, one car at a time.
Diego’s Auto Body is a small, independent body and paint shop in Central Naples. It is not part of a chain or a franchise. Diego Gauto is the manager of the company on the state record, and he is the person customers deal with: reviewers write about going to see Diego, about him calling them back, and about talking the work through with him.
The work spans the everyday and the rare. Customers review dent, fender and bumper repairs, paint work and golf carts. The shop’s own photos show a Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 in bare metal and primer, a finished Ferrari 308, a Jaguar E-Type, a Bentley Flying Spur and a C3 Corvette at the door.
A visit works the same whatever the car. You call or book a time, bring the car to Domestic Ave, and walk it with Diego. He looks at the damage with you and talks through what it needs. Ask for the estimate in writing, line by line, and take it home to compare. Asking for an estimate does not commit you to anything.
The shop’s motto, on its own business photos, is “Keeping Naples Beautiful… One Car At A Time”.
One reviewer wrote “He and his team”. Ask Diego who will work on your car when you book.
